The TOSK Board paid a courtesy call to CS Ministry of Wildlife and Tourism Bwana Najib Balala.

Key highlights of the meeting were:

How to come up with SME and MSEs Protocols that will be adhering in the tourism industry. This will boost business for SMEs in tourism and create a health working environment.

TOSK appreciates the good job done by the CS in ensuring that Tourism Front liners – Drivers, guides, travel consultants, got the Covid-19 Vaccination Jab. TOSK members were vaccinated through the smooth process and we are proud of your good job.

TOSK commends, the CS who led the introduced of policies in partnership with KWS to curb poaching of wildlife in our parks. This has enables tourism business to flourish and Kenyan Operators continue to receive business.

In partnership with the CS office and the government, tourism business was able to continue even during the time of lockdown. Bwana CS has also greatly helped as operators were issued with pass letters to transport their clients. During curfew hours companies could also receive their clients at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to the various hotels. This encouraged business owners as they did not close down after Covid.
